Shotstack was founded in 2019 by Jeff Shillitto and Derk Zomer. Both Jeff and Derk brought their extensive engineering experience working for leading companies including News Corp, Uber and The Iconic to build technology that originally allowed developers to edit video at scale, and evolved it into the ability to create, edit and distribute video programmatically, at scale.
We are on a mission to revolutionise the way video is built. We want to empower
developers and organisations to have the ability to create, edit and distribute
thousands of bespoke, data-driven videos in seconds.
We are proud of the fact we are built by developers, for developers. Our customers consistently tell us they work with us due to our easy to use, high quality documentation and our excellent customer service. We’ve been very fortunate to work with thousands of developers from leading, innovative companies, including Spotify, IKEA, Twitter and Randstad.
