Once you've created your media asset, you want your end user to see it as quickly as possible. Setting up storage, writing code to transfer files, organising your own CDN and being able to stream across geographic regions are just a few of the challenges you face.
The Shotstack Serve API allows you to make your media assets available immediately, through your preferred hosting provider. Currently we have integrations in place with AWS and Mux or you can choose to use Shotstack for hosting.
It would have required extensive research on the technologies we needed to leverage technically to achieve the desired outcome. This would have taken at least two months of engineering time for a simple use case, and up to 6 months if the scope widened.
