Render a video or image template created using the Studio video editor as part of a Workflow. Pass data to the Action and populate merge fields to generate dynamic videos at scale.
The Render Studio Template Action requires you to first create a template using the Studio video editor. You can use merge fields to create placeholders that can be populated with dynamic data coming from Triggers and other Actions. Once the template is saved you can add the Action and select a template from the drop down list of available templates. If the template includes merge fields, these will appear in the interface and can be mapped to upstream Trigger and Action values. The Rendered media file can be a video, image or an audio file and the Action returns the temporary URL to the file. The file is available for 24 hours and must either be downloaded or passed to another Action such as hosting and storage.
Actions are used to process inputs, perform tasks and return an output. Inputs are typically media file URLs, text, prompts and template merge fields.
The Action will then perform some kind of task on the inputs - such as rendering a template using the provided merge field values, generating an image or video from a text prompt or converting a video to a different format.
Finally the Action will return an output, such as a video URL or body of text. The output can then be used as an input for another downstream Action.
