We’re hiring a Developer Advocate to be Shotstack’s developer-facing marketing presence. Your job is to make Shotstack visible, useful, and credible to developers through videos, tutorials, social posts, demo walkthroughs, explainers, and community engagement.

Apply for this role

What you’ll do

  • Create short-form videos, demo walkthroughs, tutorials, explainers, and social posts.
  • Turn releases, demos, templates, docs, customer examples, and internal ideas into developer-friendly marketing assets.
  • Maintain a consistent Shotstack presence on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, GitHub-adjacent channels, and relevant developer communities.
  • Support launches, demos, integrations, SEO content, and customer education with practical developer-facing content.
  • Reply to comments, DMs, and community threads. Answer simple questions, spot patterns, and pass useful signal back to the team.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong technical communicator.
  • Comfortable creating video, social, tutorial, and technical content.
  • Developer-literate: you can read API docs, follow a code example, and ask good questions.
  • Public-facing with good judgment.
  • Able to work from a brief and turn direction into strong output.
  • AI-native, but still able to judge accuracy, usefulness, and voice.
  • Good taste for developer content: working examples, clear outcomes, minimal fluff, enough technical detail to be trusted.

Working at Shotstack

  • Real product and customers, not theoretical.
  • Steep learning curve.
  • High ownership of your output.
  • AI-native.
  • Async by default.
  • Driven, smart people who care about quality.
