Azure Blob Storage Integration
Send rendered videos and images straight to your own Azure Blob Storage container.
How it works
Step 1
Create a container
Create a storage account with a Blob container in Azure. The container must exist before files can be sent.
Step 2
Add credentials in your dashboard
Open Integrations, choose Azure Blob Storage and enter your storage account name and credentials. Sandbox and production can use different ones.
Step 3
Add the destination
Set the
azure-blob-storagedestination in the render output, or at the root of an ingest request, with your account and container.
One parameter in your render
Add destinations to the output of a render. When the video is ready, Shotstack sends it to your container under the prefix and filename you set.
{
"output": {
"format": "mp4",
"destinations": [{
"provider": "azure-blob-storage",
"options": {
"accountName": "mystorageaccount",
"container": "my-container",
"prefix": "videos",
"filename": "my-video"
}
}]
}
}What you can do with Azure Blob Storage
Several containers at once
List more than one destination to send the same file to a second container, such as a backup.
Only your container
Add the Shotstack destination with
"exclude": trueand the file goes to Azure without being hosted by Shotstack.Ingested files too
Source files and renditions from the Ingest API use the same destination.
